लंकावतार सूत्र में विज्ञानवाद (Scientism in Lankavatara Sutra)

Abstract

The prolific literature part of the Mahayana tradition includes sutra, shastras like Dharani and Stotra.
The sutras in these epigraphs are considered to have been referred to by the Buddha himself and not propounded by any Acharya. Among these sutras, the Pragya-Paramita-Sutra and Arya-Lankavatar-Sutra have special significance in the history of Buddhist philosophy.
These two have been the basis for developing two branches of Buddhist philosophy called Madhyamika and Vigyanism developed.
This paper focuses on Lankavatar-Sutra and expands on the scientism as given in it.
