Rituals in a refugee Buddhist Monastery

The present research explores the ritual practices performed in a refugee monastery and how these ritual practices are a part of the devotional life of the refugee community and acts as a link for attaining merit. Rituals act as a bridge for creating bonds in the Tibetan refugee community with Tibetan Buddhism and their Tibetan culture. The research study is ethnographic in nature and involves interviews with the monks and the devotees.
